Prices in Namibian dollars as published by the school. Please confirm the current price when we contact you.
Monthly lessons
The monthly terms state four lessons a month. The price list notes these may be reduced to 3 lessons in certain months, depending on public holidays. The school is confirming the exact count. Monthly places start after the school accepts your application.
Private lessons on school horses
N$2,100 per month
Private lessons for all levels; compulsory for complete beginners. 45 minutes including cleaning, tacking up and riding.
Group lessons on school horses
N$1,700 per month
Intermediate to advanced riders only. Groups of 3 to 5 riders, 1 hour including cleaning, tacking up and riding.
Lessons on private / leased horses
Price on request
Private lessons 30 minutes (horse warmed up before the lesson); group lessons 45 minutes to 1 hour.

One-time bookings
One-time lessons and trail rides are confirmed only when the school confirms your date and payment is received.
One-time private lesson
N$650 per lesson
45 minutes including cleaning, tacking up and riding. Weight restriction 85 kg.
1-hour trail ride
N$800 per ride
10% discount on any additional rider. Limited to 1 person per group if inexperienced. Weight restriction 100 kg. Horses are groomed and tacked up for clients.
Memberships
Required for monthly riders.
RGKW membership
N$300 per year
Paid directly to RGKW (Reitgemeinschaft Klein Windhoek).
NRS annual membership
N$300 per year
Renewed annually on 1 May. Applicants joining three months or less before May are charged N$50 per month instead.
How booking works
- Send a request with the rider details and the days and times that could work.
- You receive a reference number. This means your request was received — it is not yet a booking.
- The school contacts you. If there's no space and you asked to be waitlisted, the team reviews the request for the waiting list.
- Before joining monthly lessons, each rider completes the required 45-minute riding assessment. The school then confirms the appropriate monthly next step; submitting this form does not complete the assessment.
- When a place is offered and you accept, the school confirms the booking. For monthly lessons you then complete the application form, indemnity and membership.
